Yealink W70B DECT base station
Yealink W70B is a high-performance DECT IP base station designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It allows you to centrally manage wireless handsets and Yealink DECT headsets in areas such as offices, stores, clinics or warehouses with a single base. It offers fast commissioning by reducing the need for additional cabling.
Retail and single base scenario
In Yealink's DECT headset retail solution, the W70B is the recommended single base for single space / single store scenarios up to approximately 2500 m². Up to 10 headphones in total can be registered in the system; A maximum of 5 groups can be created and a maximum of 5 people can take part in each group. A shortcut number can be defined for speed dialing. This structure helps store staff communicate clearly and organized on the go.
Capacity and performance
W70B; Supports 10 SIP accounts, 20 simultaneous calls and 10 DECT handset or DECT headset registrations. With its powerful processor architecture, fast startup, stable signal connection and “no perception” firmware upgrade approach are targeted. It provides clearer calls even in complex wireless environments with noise reduction and broadband audio experience.
Device compatibility
W70B; Compatible with Yealink W73H, W78H, W53H, W56H, W57R, W59R, CP930W, CP935W and color display DDPhone (T54W+DD10K) handsets. It can also be paired with WH62, WH63 and WHM621 / WHD622 / WHM631 DECT headphones with charging cable. Coverage can be expanded with optional RT30 repeaters (up to 6 per base).
Security and management
Call security is strengthened with TLS and SRTP encryption; TLS 1.3 support provides faster and stronger protection. Features such as local phonebook (1000 records), remote phonebook / LDAP, auto-provision and Push-to-Talk simplify daily operation. It works integrated with SIP compatible IP switchboards (e.g. Yeastar, 3CX, Asterisk).
When W70B, when W90?
W70B is sufficient for the need for up to 10 devices in a single store or limited space. Yealink W90 multi-cell base architecture is preferred in chain stores, multi-location or scenarios where scale up to 250 devices is required.
